Halloween! 10-31-02

A family Halloween portrait, Lolo's first Halloween.
This guy had a huge Halloween environment built out on his driveway, on 18th and Sanchez. It was like a lawn display...anyway, Lolo was intrigued by him. He was drinking martinis.
I can't figure out how he had the bolts attached to his neck. They looked real.
On our way back at the end of the night, his party guests had arrived and they all had martinis, out there on the lawn.

We had dinner at the Bagdad Cafe on Market Street, and Lolo watched all the wildly dressed people flocking past the windows towards Castro.

We thought we would just make a loop around the block and then go home. HA!

But it was getting really crowded, and although it was fun to see the excesses and the great costumes, forging through the huge mass of people was the scariest thing of all.

John knows this person. She rubbed glitter onto Lolo's head, and it was so tenacious that a few little flakes are still on his scalp! Fairy dust.
This guy looked exactly like the Big Boy! He even had this weird wig, it looks just like the plastic man.
One thing about Lolo being dressed as the devil - everyone else who was dressed as the devil wanted their picture taken with him. It kind of wore thin after awhile, but Halloween is my favorite holiday.
